Word for Saturday After Epiphany January 11. St. Hygenius

The Lord takes delight in his people. Let them praise his name in the festive dance, let them sing praise to him on timbrel and harp. For the Lord loves his people, and he adorns the lowly with victory…let the high praises of God be in their throats. This is the glory of all his faithful.  Psalm 149:3-4, 6a, 9b. St. Charles Borromeo said, “If we wish to make any progress in the service of God we must begin every day of our life with new eagerness.” Let us pray, My God, let us remember – when we are tired, when we cannot see the path we’re on, when difficulties pile up, let us remember to sing Your praises. May we praise You in the morning and in the evening. May we praise you with children, and with old people. May we praise You and give You thanks, now and forever. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
