“As Peter was passing through every region, he went down to the holy ones living in Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been confined to bed for eight years, for he was paralyzed. Peter said to him ‘Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed.’ He got up at once.” Acts 9:32-34. St. Francis de Sales said, “Do everything calmly and peacefully. Do as much as you can as well as you can. Strive to see God in all things without exception, and consent to His will joyously. Do everything for God, uniting yourself to Him in word and deed. Walk very simply with the Cross of the Lord and be at peace with yourself.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, St. Peter grew to be holy and courageous. He learned to walk in You, in confidence and deep faith. May we too Lord, walk in confidence in You. You have been raised, and You are as present now as You have ever been. Live in us Lord, and we will bring You to all we meet. Amen.“Let your light shine!” Be blessed. Larry.
