“And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and grain, the produce of the ground, which will be rich
and plenteous. In that day your flock will be given pasture, and the lamb will graze in open fields; and the oxen and the donkeys that till the ground will eat salted food, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork. And upon every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks running with water, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:23- 25. St. John of the Cross said, “Faith and love are like the blind man’s guides. They will lead you upon a path unknown to you, to the place where God is hidden.”
Let us pray, Loving Father, how we long to live in the days of the fulfillment of Your promises! But some days are dry; instead of living we are simply surviving. Increase our faith and hope, Lord, that all we hope for will one day come to pass; that instead of tears we shall live in peace and joy without end. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
