“Faith is an assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen . . . By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was to go. By faith he sojourned to the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents
with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise.” Hebrews 11: 1, 8-9. St. John of the Cross said, “Faith and love are like the blind man’s guides. They will lead you along a path unknown to you, to the place where God is hidden.”

Let us pray, Loving Father, we thank You for the men and women, examples in faith like Abraham. Like him sometimes we do not know where to go or even do. Spirit of God affirm in us the realization that we love and serve a Living God who shall always see us through any hurdle in front of us. May faith in Him never waver.
