Word for Saturday July 8.

“No one puts a piece of unshrunken cloth onto an old cloak, because
the patch pulls away from the cloak and the tear gets worse. Nor do people put new wine into old
wineskins; otherwise, the skins burst, the wine runs out, and the skins are lost. No they put new
wine in fresh skins and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:16-17. Mother Angelica said, “You can’t
go to heaven hating somebody, forgive now. Be compassionate now. Be grateful now. Love
Jesus and Mary now. Accept God’s will now.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus forgive us for the shoddy
work in our spiritual life where we produce a life full of patchwork instead of giving ourselves
wholly to You. Make our lives new; new resolve, new direction. Amen. “Let your light shine!!”
Be blessed. Larry.
