“Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits. He pardons all your iniquities and heals all your ills. He redeems your life from destruction, and he crowns you with kindness and compassion. Not according to our sins does he deal with us…As far as the east if from the west, so far has he put our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:2-4, 10, 12. St. Augustine said, “There are many kinds of alms, the giving of which helps us to obtain pardon for our sins; but none is greater than that by which we forgive from our heart a sin that someone has committed against us.”
Let us pray, Heavenly Father, help us to live the truth of these words. We are loved, truly forgiven, and we rejoice in the mercy of God. You know we are but dust, and yet You have created us for eternity. May we choose confidence in Your love today. We receive Your forgiveness, and in turn we forgive those who have done us harm. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
