“At that time: Peter turned and saw following them the disciple whom Jesus loved, who had lain close to his breast at the supper and had said, “Lord,
who is it that is going to betray you?” When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?” Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? Follow me!” John 21:20-22. Julian of Norwich said, “Prayer is the deliberate and persevering action of the soul. It is true and enduring and full of grace. Prayer fastens the soul to God and makes it one with God’s will.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, it is interesting that even Peter was curious, say inquisitive in the affairs of John. You flatly tell him to mind his business and follow You. Lord save us from being unnecessary intruders in the lives of others and neglecting to fulfill our own required duty or chores. Give us the grace to follow You in the best way we must. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
