“There was a man who had two sons; and the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of property that falls to me.’ And he divided his living between them. Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took his journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in loose living . . . But when he came to himself he said . . . I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.” Luke 15:11-13, 17-19. St. John Vianney said, “When God sees us coming to him in prayer, he leans his Heart down very low to his creature, like a father who bends down to listen to his child when it speaks to him.”
Let us pray, Holy Spirit, there are moments when we move away from the love and presence of the Loving and Caring Father. Inspire us to come to our senses and return home in His embrace to share what He has prepared for us through the suffering and death of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
