Word for Saturday March 26th. “The Pharisee…spoke this prayer to himself ‘O God,

“The Pharisee…spoke this prayer to himself ‘O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity – greedy, dishonest, adulterous…’.  But the tax collector stood off at a distance…beat his breast and said ‘O God, be merciful to me a sinner.” Luke 18:11, 13. St. Theresa of Avila said, “I had many friends to help me to fall; but as to rising again, I was so much left to myself, that I wonder now I was not always on the ground. I praise God for His mercy; for it was He only who stretched our His hand to me. May He be blessed for ever! Amen.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, we need Your mercy because of our own weaknesses, and so that we may humble ourselves one to another.  May we become vessels of Your grace and mercy, bringing Your love to all in need. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry
