Word for Saturday November 11.

“Brethren: greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I but also all the Churches of the Gentiles give thanks . . . Greet Mary, who has worked hard among you . . . Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and my fellow prisoners; they are men of note among the apostles, and they were in Christ before me.” Romans 16:3-4, 6-7. St. Josephine Bahkita said, “Take heart then: let us work, suffer, pray and become saints, for this is the one thing necessary.”

Let us pray, Father, we thank You for enabling some members in our Church to excel in serving You, the Church and those they love. We thank You for their great love, effort and input. May we join them in upholding the Church and each even when facing challenges. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
