“For a long time the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought ‘While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being, because this widow keeps bothering me, I shall deliver a just decision for her…The Lord said…Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night?” Luke 18:4-5, 7. St. Albert the Great said, “The greater and more persistent your confidence in God, the more abundantly you will receive what you ask.”
Let us pray, Lord God, You use the example of a pestering relentless widow, who knew her rights. We know You Lord, that You are pleased by faith, and utter confidence in You. May we persist in prayer, always trusting in You as we stand on the rock of faith. We shall not be moved. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
