Word for Saturday October 2. Feast of the Guardian Angels. “Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared. Give heed to him and listen to his voice, do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression; for my name is in him.” Exodus 23:20-22.

St. John Bosco said, “When tempted invoke your angel. He is more eager to help you than you are to be helped. Ignore the devil and do not be afraid of him: he trembles and flees at the sight of your Guardian Angel.” Let us pray, Father, I thank You for the gift of my Guardian Angel. May he always go before me, to guard me on the way and bring me to that place You have prepared for me. Amen. “Let your light shine!!”
