Word for Saturday September 25th. “Jesus said to his disciples ‘Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.’ But they did not understand this saying, its meaning was hidden from them, so that they should not understand it.” Luke 9:43-45. St. Rose of Lima said, “The gift of grace increases as the struggle increases.” Let us pray, Our Father, many times You teach us in hidden ways – we cannot always see the path before us, or the meaning of our struggles. And yet these things can make us soar higher, look deeper, surrender more fully to the Holy Spirit. We thank You. Amen.
