Word for Sunday January 12 Baptism of the Lord. St. Arcadius.

Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form, as a dove, and a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” Luke 3:21-22. St. Charles Borromeo said, “If we wish to make any progress in the service of God, we must begin every day of our life with new eagerness.” Let us pray, Father, You sent Your Son to set us on a journey to heaven; involving joy and pain. He was faithful and this delighted You. Make us faithful in all that is expected of us that You and others may delight in us. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
