Word for Sunday January 7, Epiphany of the Lord.

“And behold, the star they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was. They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house, they saw the child with Mary, his mother.
They prostrated themselves and did him homage.” Matthew 2:9-11. St. Francis of Assisi said, “Dear God, please reveal to us your sublime beauty, that is everywhere, everywhere, everywhere, so that we will never again feel frightened.”

Let us pray, Our Father, from time of the birth of Our Lord, He was revealed to the nations. Your Son came to unite all people, and to save us all. In Your mercy, may the light of Jesus dispel and overcome the darkness in the world. May His
light reach to the ends of the earth. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
