“And then they will see the ‘the Son of Man coming in the clouds’, with great power and glory, and then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of the sky.” Mark 13:26-27. St. Paisios said, “The soul must be constantly ready and alert and always in contact with the spiritual headquarters, that is God. Only then, it will feel secure, full of hope and joy.” Let us pray, Heavenly Father, awaken us to the present moment in our lives.  In Your mercy, pour forth great graces, that we may be ready to meet You in eternity – may love be our guide, for we don’t know the hour You will call us. Amen.
