God Saves! “Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11. St. Bernardine of Siena said, “The name of Jesus is in fact the great foundation of the faith that turns people into children of God.  The Catholic Faith rests in Jesus as light of the soul, gate of life, and foundation of eternal salvation.” Let us pray, Father, You sent us Your Son so that through Him we may be saved. There is no other name which offers what He offers. Save us from selfishness and ego centrism; that like Him people may be better because they came in contact with us. Amen.
