Word for Thursday After Epiphany January 9. St. Adrian of Canterbury.

Beloved, we love God because he first loved us. If anyone says ‘I love God’, but hates his brother, he is a liar; for whoever does not love a brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. This is the commandment we have from him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.” 1 John 4:19-21. St. Faustina said, “Pure love … knows that only one thing is needed to please God: to do even the smallest things out of great love – love, and always love.” Let us pray, My God, You are love, all love comes from you.  Lord Jesus, help me to see, when I fail to love another, Your child, I wound Your heart, for You are not indifferent to us. My God, in Your mercy, let mebegin again today, to receive Your love, and so give Your love to the world. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
