Word for Thursday August 14. St. Maximilian Kolbe, Priest and Martyr.

“Falling to his knees, his fellow servant begged him ‘Be patient with me and I will pay you back.’ But he refused and instead had the fellow servant put in prison…His master summoned him and said ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me to. Should you not
have had pity on your fellow servant as I had pity on you?” Matthew 18:29-30, 32-33. Saint Maximilian Kolbe said, Let us be patient with one another and forgive one another. Nothing is lost with peace, but all can be lost with war.

Let us pray, Our Father, we have no room to stand in judgement on anyone. We have greatly sinned and have begged Your forgiveness. When we
see wrongdoing, and people gone astray, let us see with Your eyes heavenly Father, and begin to intercede for others. They are weak, like us, and in need of Your healing grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
