Word for Thursday February 26. St. Alexander of Alexandria.

“Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for bread?…How much more will your Heavenly Father give good things to those who ask Him.” Matthew 7:7-9, 11. St. Teresa of Avila said, “You pay God a compliment by asking great things of Him.”

Let us pray, Heavenly Father we ask for many graces today. We ask the grace of understanding when people come to us troubled. We ask for greater faith that our lives may become holy. We ask for our hearts to receive deeply the Holy Eucharist that we may be healed. And we ask for love, that
you would put love where we find no love, that we may draw out love. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
