Word for Thursday February 27. St. Gabriel of Sorrow.

“Do not set your heart on your wealth, nor say, “I have enough.” Do not follow your inclination and strength, walking according to the desires of your heart. Do not say, “Who will have power over me?” or “Who will bring me down because of my deeds?” for God will surely punish you. Do not say, “I sinned, and what happened to me?” for the Most High is slow to anger.” Sirach 5:1-4. St. John Bosco said, “Entrust everything to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and to Mary Help of Christians and you will see what miracles are.”

Let us pray, Lord our God, our trust and confidence must always be placed in You and not in our wealth, intelligence, strength or any other endowment You have given us. May Your grace rest upon us that we may confess and renounce all sinfulness in our life. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
