“Brothers and Sisters, we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God, and not from us. We are afflicted in every way but not constrained; perplexed but not driven to despair…always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-8, 10. St. John Eudes said, “Our wish, our object, our chief preoccupation must be to form Jesus in ourselves, to make his spirit, his devotion, his affections, his desire, and his disposition live and reign there.”
Let us pray, My God, You living in us – it is hard for us to see. We are the earthen vessels that go about the day, bringing You to others, greeting You in others. Through work, joy, struggles, relaxation, it is You in us bringing life to the world. We welcome You Lord God, though we cannot comprehend. St. James, pray for us. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
