Word for Thursday March 21.

“Abraham your father rejoiced to see my day…so the Jews said to him ‘You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham?’ Jesus said to them,Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM.’  So they picked up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid and went out of the temple area.” John 8:56-59. St. Jerome said, “The Church of Christ has been founded by shedding its own blood, not that of others; by enduring outrage, not by inflicting it. Persecutions have made it grow; martyrdoms have crowned it.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, You faced so much opposition when You walked the earth, and now still, today, You are opposed, and people face persecution because of Your name. Intervene,Lord we pray, cause more and more people to see the light of Truth, and protect those who love Your Name. Amen. Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
