Word for Thursday November 4th. “What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost one until he finds it? And when he does find it, he sets it on his shoulders with great joy.” Luke 15:4-5. St. Padre Pio said, “God will not allow you to be lost if you persist in your determination not to lose Him.” Let us pray, God Our Father, we were lost and have been found by Jesus.  He has carried us when we were too damaged by our own sins to stand up and walk.  May we have the same compassion on others, seeing their suffering as a sign for us to show God’s mercy and love. Amen.
