Word for Thursday October 21st. “He is like a tree that is planted near running water, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade.  Whatever he does prospers.” Psalm 1:3. St. Theresa of Avila said, “The tree that is beside the running water is fresher and gives more fruit.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, give us always Your Holy Spirit.  He is the running water that feeds our souls, the One who bears fruit in us, even through our struggles and mistakes.  Come Holy Spirit! Be with us always! Amen. “Let your light shine!!”
