Word for Thursday September 16. “Beloved: Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity . . . Do not neglect the gift you have.” 1 Timothy 4:12, 14. Henry Blackaby said, “The Christian needs to walk in peace, so no matter what happens they will be able to bear witness to a watching world.” Let us pray, Holy Spirit, touch us and empower us with ever renewed love, faith, and correctness in our day to day living; that we may be an example to the young and all those who look up to us. May the gifts You have given us come to blossom for the benefit of all. Amen.
