Word for Thursday September 8 Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“You Bethlehem-Ephratha, too small to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me, one who is to be ruler of Israel; whose origin is from old, from ancient times…He shall stand firm and shepherd his flock.” Micah 5:2,4. St. Ildephonsus said, “Go to Mary and sing her praises and you will be enlightened. For it is through her, that the true Light shines on the sea of this life.” Let us pray, Lord God, Mary Your daughter gave birth to Jesus our Savior.  May the graces she received at her own birth bear fruit within us, for she is our Mother, and gives all she has to us. Grant that we may we learn to love her dearly as our Mother. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
