“Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a child over and placed it in their midst and said “Unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:1-4. St. Edith Stein said, “Lay all your cares about the future trustingly in God’s hands, and let yourself be guided by the Lord just like a little child.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, help us to become like children.  We want control, and planning, always looking ahead.  May You give us the grace to be present, here and now, to receive Your love, and to trust You will provide the way for our every step.
