“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.  The Lord redeems the lives of his servants; no one incurs guilt who takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:18-19. Pope St. John Paul II said, “It’s better to cry than be angry, because anger hurts others while tears flow silently through the soul and cleanses the heart.” Let us pray, Father God, through the intercession of St. John we ask, listen to our hearts.  Pay heed to our cries, grant us what we need to live this life of love on earth.  We give you our sorrows – in return, bring us healing and joy. We thank you. Amen.
