Word for Tuesday December 6.

“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly
to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has
received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.” Isaiah 40:1-2. Pope St. John Paul II said,
“There is no place for selfishness – and no place for fear! Do not be afraid then when love makes
demands. Do not be afraid when love requires sacrifice.” Let us pray, Father, there are words and
sentiments that have become rare. We thank You, You can transform us to be more welcoming,
comforting, and tender hearted. We thank you for forgiving us; not once but all the time. Amen.
“Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
