Word for Tuesday January 23.

“A crowd seated around him told him Your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside asking for you. But he said to them in reply ‘Who are my mother and my brothers?’ And looking around at those seated he said ‘Whoever does the will of God is my mother, sister and brother.” Mark 3:32-35. St. John Vianney said, “My God, I give you my heart and since You are so good as to give me another day, give me the grace that everything I do will be for Your honor and for the salvation of my soul.”

Let us pray, My Lord, what joy there was for our Mother Mary to hear that all can be Your mother, brother and sister. She knew well the secret of obedience from her youth. Through the intercession of Our Mother Mary, may we too learn to do Your will, with gratitude and joy. Amen. “Let your light shine!! Be blessed. Larry.
