Word for Tuesday January 6. St. Andrew Corsini.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:7-10. St. John of the Cross said, “The soul that is united with God is feared by the devil and loved by God.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, grant us wisdom and understanding to know You deeply and love You as John did, the beloved of the Father. Make us beloved in Your sight in every aspect of our lives and in all we do, now and always. Let Yourliving love dwell in us and work through us for Your glory. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
