Word for Tuesday July 23.

“As in the days when you came from the land of Egypt, show us wonderful signs. Who is there like you, the God who removes guilt and pardons sin, for the remnant of his inheritance; who does not persist in anger forever, but delights rather inclemency…treading underfoot our guilt?” Micah 7:15, 18-19. Pope Benedict XVI said, “Mercy
is in reality the core of the Gospel message; it is the name of God Himself, the face with which He reveals Himself in the Old Testament and fully in Jesus Christ, the Incarnation of creative and redemptive love.”

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, every morning may we praise You for your mercy. When we struggle -praise for Your mercy. When we cannot see our way – praise for Your mercy. When we are assaulted – praise for Your mercy. When joy overflows – praise for Your mercy. We give You our sins, and in return You shower mercy. Thanks be to God! Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
