Word for Tuesday June 13.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be
hidden…Just so your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and
glorify your heavenly father.” Matthew 5:14-16. St. John Chrysostom said, “You cannot pray at
home, like you can at church, where there is a great multitude: where exclamations are cried out
to God as from one great heart, and where there is something more: the unions of minds, the
accord of souls, the bond of charity, the prayers of priests.” Let us pray, My God, may we begin
each day in Your Presence, our hearts one with Yours. May we stop, and be filled with You, our
Light, and then go forth, bringing Your Truth, kindness and love in all we do. Amen. “Let your
light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
