Word for Tuesday June 4.

“Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace . . . beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:14-17b-18a. St. JoseMaria Escriva said, “To be faithful to God requires a constant battle. Hand to hand combat…the old man against the man of God – in one small thing after another, without giving in.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, You left us the Sacrament of Reconciliation; sometimes we go astray, forgive us for our lack of zeal; when we allow sinful spots to color our love for You and we lose our stability. May we grow in grace and knowledge of You never to be erased from Your Sacred Heart. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
