“Jesus said, ‘Amen I say to you, there is no one who has given up house, or brothers or sisters, or mother or father or children or lands for my sake and the sake of the Gospel, who will not receive a hundred times more in this present age.” Mark 10:29-30. St. Alphonsus Liguori said, “He who trusts in himself is lost. He who trusts in God can do all things.”

Let us pray, My Jesus, You have asked more of some, and seemingly less of others. But whatever our state in life, may we give You all today. May we have the grace of trusting You with everything, and with all those we love. We give ourselves freely Lord; not my will but thine
be done. Amen.
