Word for Tuesday November 16 th . “O Lord, how many are my adversaries! Many rise up
against me! Many are saying of me, ‘There is no salvation for him in God!’ But you O Lord are
my shield, my glory, you lift up my head. When I call out to the Lord, he answers me from his
holy mountain.” Psalm 3:1-4. St. Augustine said, “God is always trying to give good things to us,
but our hands are too full to receive them.”

Let us pray, My God You are so faithful! Though
many try to obscure Your ways and lead us astray, calling what is bad good, and what is good
bad – yet You lead us in Your Truth. You are our fore and rear guard. We shall not be moved.
Amen.
