“This was the dream; now we will tell the king its interpretation. You, O king, the king of kings . . . . you are the head of gold. After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze . . . And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron . . . and like iron which crushes, it shall break and crush all these . . . it shall be a divided kingdom; but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the miry clay . . . And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people.” Daniel 2:36-44. St. Gregory the Great said, Grace is a ladder set by God Himself; the faithful soul must climb steadily upward, step by step. Do not look to the depths from which you might fall, but to the heights to which Christ invites you—ever moving from grace to greater grace.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, it can be a great pity that instead of rising from grace to grace we fall from grace to grass! Let this be simply a dream never to decline from gold, silver, bronze, iron or clay. Lord we pray for enduring greatness, strength and unity; save us from all forms of division. May Your kingdom be firmly rooted in us, never to be destroyed nor be led by others but by You, Our Lord and King. Amen.
“Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
