Word for Tuesday October 19th. “Be dressed, ready for service, light your lamps and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks.” Luke 12:35-36. St. Mary MacKillop said, “Pray to be ever ready for God’s will even when it takes you by surprise.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, may we be ready for You every day, for You knock on the door of our hearts.  We ask for the grace to swing wide the door, and invite You in.  May You live in us, and make of us light and love for the world. Amen.
