Word for Tuesday October 29. St. Hermelide.

“Jesus said ‘What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in his garden. When it was fully grown it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.” Luke 13:18-19. St. Basil the Great said, “Learning truth is like learning a trade; apprentices grow little by little, provided they do not despise any opportunity to increase their knowledge.”

Let us pray, Lord God, may Your kingdom on earth, Your Church, be a home for all. Many Catholics have lost their way and seek fulfillment in lonely places. They seek answers in the world, and online, everywhere but home in their faith. May we be a shelter for all, a homeland for those who are lost. Today, may we extend kindness and mercy. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
