“As he drew near to the gate of the city, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow…When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity and said to her ‘Do not weep.’ He stepped forward, touched the coffin and said ‘Young man, I tell you, arise!” Luke 7:12-14. St. Mother Teresa said, “A life not lived for others is not a life.”
Let us pray, My God, though surrounded by crowds of people, and busy from morning to night, You saw this
woman in sorrow, and You stopped. Moved with pity, You gave her the gift of her son back, something she never could have imagined would happen that day. Lord Jesus, may we learn to ask everything of You, the big things and the little. We know You want to be our all in all. We thank You Lord! Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
