“Jesus was told ‘Your mother and your brothers are standing outside and they wish to see you.’ He said to them in reply ‘My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it.” Luke 8:20-21. Pope Francis said, “We can live this life to the fullest – with one’s feet firmly planted on the ground – and respond courageously to whatever new challenges come our way.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, Your mother heard the word of God and kept it, all of her life, letting grace upon grace build, day after day.
