“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin. The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to want.” Proverbs 21:2-5. St. Catherine of Siena said, “A clean heart can see God, can speak to God, and can see the love of God in others.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus this is Your teaching: having a clean heart; being diligent, and then plan so as to lead to abundance; moving steadily and not hastily. Lord may we seek to be righteous in Your eyes rather than in ours. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
