“And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom,
for Moses had laid his hands upon him . . . And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like
Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, none like him for all the signs and the wonders which the Lord sent him to do.” Deuteronomy 34:9-11. St. Therese of Liseiux said, “You are ambitious
for knowledge, for leadership? For great ventures? Good, very good. But let it be for Christ, for
love.” Let us pray, Loving Father, we thank You for new leaders who succeed the old ones. We
pray for the old leaders that they may pass on their spirit and wisdom to those who succeed them.
Make the young ones to know You face to face so that as they gather Your people they may
share from the depth of Your Spirit and Love. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Amen.
