Word for Wednesday February 21.

Have mercy on me O God in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion, wipe out my offense…A clean heart create for me O God, and a steadfast spirit renew within me…My sacrifice O God is a contrite spirit; a heart contrite and humbled, O God you will not spurn.” Psalm 51: 1, 10, 17. St. Augustine said, “We count on God’s mercy for our past mistakes, on God’s love for our present needs, on God’s sovereignty for our future.”

Let us pray, O God, You are all mercy. May we humble ourselves when we fall, and run towards Your merciful heart, not away. To doubt Yourmercy wounds Your heart O Lord. May we trust in You as You make us clean. May we never doubt Your love. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
