Word for Wednesday February 28.

“At that time: As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.” Matthew 20:17-19. Cardinal Francois-Xavier Nguyen Van Thuan said, “Jesus – I will not wait. I will live the present moment and fill it with love.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, what we go through every day is what You went through. Sometimes we are on the verge of discouragement because of the weight of the cross we carry. But You have taught us that there is victory at the end of it all. You do not fail us but lift us up into glory. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
