“Be my rock of refuge, a stronghold to give me safety, for you are my rock and my fortress…For you are my hope O Lord; my trust O God from my youth. On you I depend from birth; from my mother’s womb you are my strength.” Psalm 71:3, 5-6. St. John of the Cross said, “Live in faith and hope, though it be in darkness, for in this darkness God protects the soul. Cast your care upon God for you are His and He will not forget you. Do not think that He is leaving you alone, for that would be to wrong Him.”
Let us pray, My Lord, You are my life and my hope. I see I have no strength but Yours, no compassion but Yours, no love but Yours. You Lord Jesus are the source of all good things. As we go about our lives, keep us planted on the Rock that is You, as we extend ourselves for others and bear You to the world. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
