Word for Wednesday July 3rd Feast of St. Thomas, Apostle.

“Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” But Thomas said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put
my finger into the nail marks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe” . . . Now a week later . . . Jesus came . . . Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.” John 20:24-27. St. Alphonsus Ligouri said, “Acquire the habit of speaking to God as if you were alone with Him, familiarly, and with confidence and love, as to the dearest and most loving of friends.”

Let us pray, Loving Father, there are so many things we need to believe as they are because they are mysteries. Give us the grace to believe them for You are our Lord and our God; we cannot fathom You. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
