Word for Wednesday March 9th

“Have mercy on me O God in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me.” Psalm 51:1-2. St. Augustine said, “God will cleanse your sins if you yourself are dissatisfied with yourself and will keep on changing until you are perfect.” Let us pray, My Jesus, I have sinned.  I have put my wants before your commands. I have failed in love and sought my own ways.  Be merciful Lord, pick me up, clean me off – I know it is Your favorite thing to do, for I am Your child, and always in need of Your mercy. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
