“Jesus said to his disciples, ‘As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love…I have told you this so that my joy might be in you, and your joy might be complete…love one another as I love you.” John15:9-11,17. St. Pope John Paul II said, Faced with problems and disappointments, many people will try to escape from their responsibility: escape in selfishness, escape in sexual pleasure, escape in drugs, escape in violence, escape in indifference and cynical attitudes. But today, I propose to you the option of love, which is the opposite of escape.
Let us pray, Lord God, by Your grace may we come to know deep in our hearts, that the meaning of the world is love. Love is why we were created. Love is our food. Through the intercession of St. Matthias, may we live this love as the apostles did. May love become our light and our way. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
